Challenge a mistaken, unsupported, or disproportionate Minecraft or Discord moderation action through a private case reviewed against the available evidence.

    Join the AshRun Discord

    Use the official invite below. Minecraft and Discord moderation appeals are handled privately with the reviewing staff team.

    Open a private appeal

    Open #appeal-information and press “Open a private appeal,” or run /appeal anywhere in the AshRun Discord.

    Give us the relevant facts

    Identify the platform and account, the action date and reason shown, why it should be reconsidered, and any genuinely new evidence. Account linking helps with identity checks but is never required to appeal.

    Continue in your private ticket

    The bot creates a case channel visible only to you and authorized reviewers. Watch that channel for questions, status changes, and the decision.

Identity and evidence

Staff verify the relevant Minecraft or Discord account, action, applicable rule, evidence authenticity, surrounding context, and any credible account-compromise, AutoMod, or technical-error claim.

Independent review

The issuing moderator may supply evidence, but should not be the only final reviewer of a disputed permanent ban when another moderator or administrator is available.

Clear decision

The result will uphold, modify, or overturn the action—or request more information—with a rationale, the resulting Minecraft or Discord action, and further-appeal eligibility.

What may be appealed

You may ask for reconsideration based on mistaken identity, account compromise, an AutoMod false positive or missing context, incorrect or incomplete evidence, a punishment you believe is disproportionate, or genuinely new information. An apology is not required to challenge a factual error.

What to include

  • The platform involved and your Minecraft Java username or Discord username at the time.
  • Your Minecraft UUID or Discord user ID if you know it; leave it blank if you do not.
  • When the action occurred and the reason Minecraft, Discord, AutoMod, or staff displayed.
  • A focused explanation of what you believe should be reconsidered.
  • Relevant new context or evidence, if any.

Linking is helpful, not required

A linked account can make identity verification faster, but AshRun does not require Discord–Minecraft linking to submit or win an appeal. Reviewers must still evaluate the evidence and the action itself.

Privacy and conduct

Never submit passwords, account email addresses, IP addresses, authentication codes, payment details, or unrelated private information. Keep all case discussion in the private ticket. Duplicate appeals, abusive content, public arguments, or harassment of staff may be closed and may result in separate moderation.

What happens after a decision

The appeal decision itself does not automatically ban, unban, time out, or restore either account. If an action is modified or overturned, authorized staff apply the stated result through AshRun’s normal Minecraft or Discord moderation system. When a Minecraft AutoMod match is formally overturned as a false positive, its exact escalation strike is also removed so it cannot increase a later automatic action. This separation helps prevent the wrong account or sanction from being changed.

If you cannot access Discord

If the disputed action prevents you from entering AshRun Discord, email info@ashrun.org with “Moderation appeal” in the subject. Include the same focused facts listed above, but never send a password, authentication code, IP address, or unrelated private information.
