Your first hour on AshRun

A short, server-specific route from first connection to a protected camp and a clear next objective.

New Bark Town welcomes players with a clear route into the AshRun world.
New Bark Town is the starting point for AshRun's onboarding route. The central directory keeps the first commands close at hand.

1. Finish the exact pack setup

Install the official ATMons profile linked from the AshRun join guide. Let the pack finish loading before connecting; assembling a partial mod list by hand will not match the server.

2. Open the in-game starter route

Run /start. AshRun’s live onboarding flow walks through travel, a camp home, a claim, and a next objective. You can reopen it later, so there is no need to memorize the whole pack at spawn.

3. Link Discord to Minecraft

Account linking is optional but strongly encouraged for established players as well as newcomers. Run /discord link in game, then use the one-time /link command in AshRun Discord within ten minutes. Linking makes support and account-aware community features clearer and synchronizes your nickname inside the AshRun Discord server to your Minecraft name; it does not change your global Discord username. Then use /linkreward status and /linkreward claim for cumulative common-item milestones that recognize existing playtime or quest progress. 4. Pick a responsible base area

The starter route offers /rtp for overworld travel. Before building, check the map for nearby claims and leave sensible space around another player’s project. Avoid treating the resource world as permanent storage or a long-term home.

5. Set a return point

Stand at your camp and use /sethome camp. The onboarding route then gives you a direct /home camp return path while you explore.

6. Claim before you invest

Open the FTB Chunks map with M and claim the chunks covering your first camp. Claims protect block editing and interaction by default; the claims and chunk-loading guide explains the exact current limits.

7. Choose one next objective

Pick the part of ATMons you actually want to learn first: quests and trainer progression, Pokémon collecting, a small technology line, a build, or the player economy. For trading and rewards, read the GTS, hunts, and economy guide. For species-specific routes, use the AshRun Pokémon database.

Make your next session easy to start

Give yourself one small reason to come back: the next gym badge, a Pokémon you want to catch, a shop to stock, or a room to finish. Daily contracts and the Battle Tower offer shorter goals when you do not have time for a large project.
