Use the official invite below and remain signed in to the Discord account you want associated with your Minecraft account.
While connected to AshRun, run /discord link. The server gives you a one-time number that expires after ten minutes.
Use the /link command in an AshRun Discord text channel—#server-chat is the recommended place—and enter the one-time number in its code field. Use the bot command rather than posting the number as an ordinary message.
Minecraft and Discord both confirm the association. For members Discord permits the AshRun bot to manage, AshRun then synchronizes the nickname inside its Discord guild to the in-game Minecraft name; the global Discord username does not change.
The purpose is to let AshRun recognize the same community member across its own Minecraft server and Discord.
The link stores the Discord and Minecraft identifiers needed to associate those two AshRun accounts, plus the integration’s per-user chat, reaction, notification, and visibility preferences. The association is server-local and is not shared as a global Discord Integration link. The separate reward receipt stores only the Minecraft UUID, highest claimed tier, receipt state, and timestamps so a tier cannot be granted twice.
Linking does not copy your Discord password, direct messages, email address, authentication data, Minecraft location or inventory, message history, or activity outside AshRun into its association record or Discord community tools. The Minecraft server still handles ordinary gameplay state such as location and inventory independently of linking. Reward receipts do not store a Discord ID, player name, raw playtime, or raw quest count.
Your nickname inside the AshRun Discord guild is kept synchronized to your current Minecraft name wherever Discord’s owner and role-hierarchy rules permit the AshRun bot to manage it. Your global Discord username does not change. Linking does not add chat logging or give AshRun access to Discord DMs. Separately, AshRun-hosted Minecraft DMs are subject to AutoMod and authorized staff review whether or not the accounts are linked; see the rules.
A verified association helps support and appeal reviewers confirm which Minecraft account belongs to you. It also keeps your AshRun guild nickname aligned with your in-game Minecraft name and provides a safe foundation for account-aware community features without changing your global Discord identity.
Established and long-time players are encouraged to link too. The one-time in-game launch prompt is intentionally shown to returning players as well as newcomers.
The cumulative thank-you below uses common decorative and identity items. It grants no permission, rank, supporter benefit, moderation exemption, exclusive capability, or access to private staff systems.
Leaving the AshRun Discord automatically removes the saved association; if you rejoin later, you can link again. To remove it without leaving, use the existing private help or appeal workflow. If you cannot access AshRun Discord, email info@ashrun.org.
Unlinking stops future nickname synchronization but does not restore a nickname that existed before linking. Staff can help with the AshRun-server nickname after removal. The Minecraft-only reward receipt remains as ordinary reward history so the same tier cannot be claimed again after relinking.
Do not post account details, link numbers, email addresses, or authentication information in a public channel. There is no promised self-service unlink command.
After linking, use /linkreward status to see the current tier and /linkreward claim to receive every unlocked, unclaimed increment. Link early without losing later rewards: higher increments remain claimable when your playtime or quest progress reaches them.

Playtime is the Minecraft account’s authoritative vanilla play-time statistic. FTB quest completion is team-shared, so quest progress never qualifies a tier without the stated personal playtime floor. The server reads current totals only when showing status or processing a claim; it stores the tier receipt, not the raw totals. Each tier is once per Minecraft UUID. If the inventory cannot safely hold the complete increment, nothing is marked claimed—free space and retry. An interrupted prepared receipt fails closed instead of risking a duplicate; give its receipt reference to staff for recovery.
