AshRun uses optional first-party analytics only after consent, keeps the data private, and gives you direct access and deletion controls.
Who controls the data
AshRun operates this website and is responsible for its first-party analytics. Questions, access requests, or privacy concerns can be sent to info@ashrun.org.
Optional analytics
Analytics are disabled until you affirmatively choose “Accept analytics.” Declining does not reduce site functionality. Optional analytics are intended only for visitors age 16 or older; visitors under 16 should decline. AshRun does not operate a parental-consent verification system. If your browser sends Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track, optional analytics remain disabled. You can change your choice at any time through the Analytics settings button in the footer.
When enabled, AshRun records page views, entry pages, broad referral categories, internal page-to-page clicks, approved outbound destinations, coarse device class, engagement-time and scroll-depth ranges, site-search use without the search text, Pokédex interactions, gallery interactions, and join, Discord, voting, download, and checkout-funnel actions. A checkout return is not treated as independently verified payment or delivery.
Cookies and identifiers
The preference cookie remembers accept or decline for up to 180 days. If accepted, a random first-party browser identifier lasts up to 180 days and a first-party visit identifier expires after 30 minutes of inactivity. Server-side storage contains one-way hashes of those random values, not the cookie values themselves. AshRun does not use analytics cookies for advertising.
What analytics exclude
Analytics do not store IP addresses, usernames, Minecraft or Discord identifiers, chat, email addresses, payment information, full referral URLs, URL query strings, internal search text, precise location, or browser fingerprints. Analytics data is not sold, rented, or shared with advertising networks or other analytics providers.
Purpose, access, and retention
The data is used only to understand site use, improve navigation and content, diagnose weak funnels, and measure interest in joining, downloads, Discord, voting, and supporter checkout. Event-level and browser-linked analytics are automatically deleted after 90 days. Access is restricted to AshRun's authorized administrators on its privately administered server.
Use the controls below to download the analytics currently associated with this browser or delete it and withdraw consent. Withdrawal stops future collection and deletes the linked event-level data. You may also contact AshRun for assistance.
Security and operational logs
The web server keeps short-lived operational request logs for reliability and abuse investigation. Before those logs are written, AshRun removes client IP addresses, forwarded addresses, cookies, authorization headers, referrers, and query strings. The logs are owner-restricted and rotate after seven days. They are separate from optional analytics.
External services
The private administrator dashboard uses Google sign-in for approved administrators only. Google confirms the administrator's email address; AshRun keeps a private login session for up to eight hours, ending after an hour of inactivity. This sign-in is not used to track public visitors.
Links to Discord, CurseForge, server directories, vote providers, and Tebex take you to services with their own privacy practices. The Tebex checkout library loads only after you intentionally open checkout. Tebex handles supporter checkout information and payment details directly; AshRun's analytics records only coarse checkout-funnel events after consent.
