Ho-Oh's feathers glow in seven colors depending on the angle at which they are struck by light. These feathers are said to bring happiness to the bearers. This Pokémon is said to live at the foot of a rainbow.

Ho-Oh is the rainbow Pokémon, said to roost atop the Bell Tower at Ecruteak and to bring eternal happiness to any who see it. Legend holds it gave life to the three beasts below. Combine the red, blue, and yellow feathers won from Entei, Suicune, and Raikou into a Rainbow Feather, then climb the Bell Tower to call Ho-Oh down.
